Allen Brown
Receives Sponsorship from Taylor Guitars of San Diego!

Local guitarist and owner of Burning Bush Productions Recording Studio, Allen Brown is the latest recipient to receive a sponsorship from Taylor Guitars in San Diego, California. Allen Brown and his studio cur¬rently have endorsements and sponsorships from Dean Markley Strings, Hughes and Kettner Amplifica¬tions, The Rock Slide, Audio-Technica microphones, Tascam and Horizon Music. According to Brown, this sponsorship is one of his most prized as Taylor is known for making some of the best acoustic guitars in the world. As part of his sponsorship, Taylor is outfitting Allen ' with a custom guitar made to his specifications, with his choice of body style, tone and hardware. "Their tone and workmanship are unbelievable. I chose the maple W-14CE model for live performances and the tobacco sunburst 614CE model for recording." Brown recently had the opportunity to visit the factory in San Diego to see how these great guitars are made. Although playing the guitar has been his passion since his teens, he now can appreciate the hard work, sweat, and passion that go into making a great guitar. If you are interested in learning more about Taylor Guitars, check out their website at: www.taylorguitars.com.

Allen came to Los Banos from San Francisco, where he had lots of opportunities to meet and play with some of the Bay Area's' greatest musicians. One of his earliest recording sessions was done at his home and in private recording studio with his instrumental fusion band. Their CD should be available by the end of this year. The band is made up of some great bay area musicians and they frequently come to Los Banos to lay down tracks with Brown while maintaining their own busy schedules. Drummer Wade Olson plays for Craig Chaquico, bassist Mike Anderson toured with Joe Walsh in his former band Big Blue Hearts, and percussionist Marquino Brasil has toured the globe with Mariah Carey. Brown exclaims: "This is one of the best bands I have ever worked with. It is a pleasure to work with creative professionals that have such vast experiences in the recording industry."

Allen is currently working on a feature article with Recording Magazine in an effort to advise upcoming recording engineers in the art of home recording. He is also producing various other projects including local rap artists The Moonshine Bandits, and classical guitarist Dave Duenas from the San Francisco Guitar Quartet.
